I think that the more interesting part is how
little bleed-over there has been into the prime,
and fixed rate markets. The lack of bleed-over
may be real, or the definition of sub-prime may
have been tweaked to get the nice curves.
Here's your fix:
July 2005, from the OCC: The sale of interest only,
or negative amortization home loans for purchase
of a SFR should be severely limited. Only those
customers that are accredited investors, should be
offered such product.
