Michigan and Minnesota are very similar in their redemption laws. Here, this type of action is competely inappropriate. In fact, I would want to know just who is doing this harrasing as no lender I know would do that. The sheriff can't touch the house during redemption so saying that things will be put out on the curb would be total BS. Call them and hear for yourself. If they confirm that they don't do anything during redemption I would ask how to file a complaint.

Unless you have some weird twist to redemption laws the house is yours and yours alone during redemption. And you can rent it out if you wish. You only lose that right if you abandon it and even then there is a court action to verify.

Would love to catch these jokers in the act.
