So he just needs to contact the trustee & notify them that he is aware of excess funds and they will turn those funds over after sale to new buyer is complete? Seems too easy but if you don't pursue funds, the trustee isn't required to turn them over to foreclosed owner? Or as you move from your home, the trustee may not have your current address and doesn't pursue finding you? Well, thanks, I will pass info along and hope he can get the funds released sooner then later..
