I'd imagine a mortgage used to acquire a H4H dwelling may carry a lower interest rate... which the lendewr might want to dump.

I would contact the H4H branch which helped you acquire the property. Today. Explain the circumstances. Today. Ask its regional attorney to intercede on your behalf.

It is in the interest of H4H to see you succeed... it will not want news one of its homeowners lost the place to foreclosure.
