Before loosing your house to the banks consider saving your credit by doing a rent to own or rent out the house. In my experience rent to own is the best option. You can get 5 to 7 thousand down non refundable if they do not purchase the house if they buy it apply it as down payment. I usually do a 3-year contract and up the price a little. You get better people then renters. You would be surprised at all the people that have money but bad credit. 80% end up not buying the house and the down payment is yours plus the house has gone up in value. Try to make $100 on top of your payment. In three years you should be back on your feet and the house is yours again or you make some quick cash and have good credit to move on. I make pink signs that say Rent to own no bank qualifying. The phone rings off the hook.
Good luck and keep smiling. Close your eyes for 5 minutes and think off something that makes you happy. This always takes the stress out of my life.
