You absolutely need to try everything possible, call your lender, call you lender, call you lender. I've been able to keep my home becasue of an aggressive company that my attorney recommended, DBIMG.com. He said I could always file for bankruptcy, but I didn't want to do that because of the ramifications to my already tainted credit. He recommended them because I need to work and didn't have the time to work with the lender on my own. ASC is aweful, they never returned any of my calls, they drowned me in paperwork, it was a really bad experience. DBIMG.com went in and got me results in a week. It did cost me $300 to hire them, but for me, I needed to work and the time off of work working on this would have cost me 8x that much. If you have the time, call your lender 10x a day, if not call DBIMG.com. Good Luck!
