Sheriff Sale

I declared bankrupcy in December and I did not go to my first hearing as I thought I had money to stay out of bankrupcy, this was in Feburary. I heard nonthing from the mortage company until last week. I have a new sheriffs sale date, they are only giving me a thirty day redemption period is this legal?
