There is no requirement (or procedure for that matter) to respond to a Lis Pendens notice. You have merely been notified that a lawsuit (foreclosure) is pending that involves the title to the property that you are renting. If you were actually a contract buyer, you'd would have been alerted to do something (in the lawsuit itself) to protect your interest.
