Ca-Foreclosure

I need some advice or recommendations. I have been behind for a few months on my mortgage. I was set up on a repayment plan but was unable to stay on it, it was more than what I made each month but I wanted to just continue paying to show that I wanted to keep the house. The balance was carried over to the next month and it's been like that since I was on the repayment plan. My mortgage lender used to be AMC Mortgage and changed to Citi Residential Lending. I spoke with someone at Citi Residential to see if a new repayment plan could be worked at a lower rate and a longer amount of time. They sent me a financial statement which I faxed back immediately and it's been two weeks since I have heard anything. I have called the person in charge of my account 5 or 6 times and no call back whatsoever. I have called the 1-800 number listed on the statement and they confirmed the financial statement was received and then refer me back to the same person's voicemail. I'm a bit concerned because AMC was very quick to call me back and now I am in limbo. I sent a hardship letter and I will be paying $6000 this month by the 30th. I figure I need to send it whether I hear from Citi Residential or not. Any suggestions or has anyone dealt with that company before? Thank you very much!!!
