This is the reason I posted the information on this change in the first place. People just don't know about it. And surprisingly many who could do a short sale were not eligible for the original forgiveness anyway. And those that were didn't know about the eligibility either.

Hopefully as the knowledge of this gets out there more who would benefit from a short sale will check out the option.
