The bankruptcy /judge wont discharge your case unless
you have a deal with the banks.
. Don't expect a deal either, since they will want you to payoff the late charges and past due.
Best Case, WALK AWAY. If you need to live there. Do Not Move out until you are evicted. The process can take months. If you play hard ball, and wait until the Eviction Court date the bank will pay you 3 months rent to avoid going to trial.
Filing for Bankruptcy is the Best thing you can do.
