The only TD/mortgage document that counts is the
one that was recorded at the clerk/recorder's office.
Go down to the recorder's office and print it out.
If their name is on the document, or there is a title
trail to the current holders of the note, the action
is legal. If you are in a community property state:
(Arizona,California,Idaho,Louisiana,Nevada,New Mexico,
Texas,Washington,Wisconsin) it is possible that your
wife could be ajoined in the action. If you wish to
persue the forgery you will have to take that up in
a civil court, as an action on your own, separate from
the foreclosure.
