Garnishment

Due to medical expenses, I don't make enough salary (retirement plus SSA) to make my house pmt. + living expenses. There is enough to pay my monthly mortgage but not enough for living expenses. Can the mortgage co. garnish my salary because there is enough for a house pmt.?
