FORECLOSURE VS DIL

FACTS = CA residence, one mortgage, upside down $125,000. Cannot make mort. pmts. due to $25,000 credit card debt. used for unexpected health problems, Missed two pmts. so far. Which is the lesser of two evils? Foreclosure or Deed In Lieu?
