Sometimes, in situations where the lender knows the premises is occupied, but non owner occupied, it will have its lawyers ask the court to appoint a rent receivor .. and the court directs the tenant to send rent to the third party rent receivor. The rent receivor would make sure the premises was insured, and maintained.
