I'm in Illinois in foreclosure and still in residence. In Illinois builders will offer free items as incentives for buyers to purchase. In the sales contract items are listed such as upgrades and their cost. However some items are listed as free. Obviously an item such as a free basement cannot be taken from the residence but appliances and in my case a fireplace insert can easily be removed and as say are listed as free on the sales contract.
