Not really. Sometimes a lender could include a nominal cash incentive for you to hand over your deed... If you pursue a "Deed In Lieu (of foreclosure) option with your lender ... you can negotiate a move-out date. An extra month in the current residence is a month you won't have to pay for housing somewhere else.
If offerting a DIL, or seeking cash for keys... pledge to leave the premises in broom swept condition, and claim the incentive as you step out of the house.
