did you sign a tenant or landlord lease with the bank after you were foreclosed on hence making you a tenant? i.e. have you been paying rent to the bank since foreclosure..


I was given this info, see below quote, from the All Foreclosure discussion posting I did a few weeks ago after the condo officially or legally foreclosed. I've been trying to find out the eviction time line for months and keep getting different info as well as vague answers. I wanted to avoid what just happened.
"Patricia,
Whenever you occupy a property that is no longer yours, e.g. after the property
has been sold at a foreclosure auction, then you are considered a tenant; then
the owner is a landlord and you are a tenant. In order for the landlord, the
lender, to evict the occupant or tenant,you, it must follow the state's tenant & landlord laws.
