Depending upon who is bringing about the foreclosure, you should expect other bidders at the Sheriff's Sale. Senior lien foreclosure will serve to extinguish junior liens. A junior lien foreclosure will result in senior liens remaining in place.

If you've never attended a Sheriff's Sale, you should to see how things work before risking your dough.
