Hi Sammy: I am sorry to hear about your trouble. Your credit scores will be tanked for at least two years. If you file a BK, that will further drop it down. In addition, the late reporting for not making your payments will further decline your scores.
Your credit would be trashed for two to 7 years. A foreclosure, short sale or deed in leiu of foreclosure will all have the same impact on credit scoring. Please check out negotiating with the lender that you may allow to go to foreclosure. You may be able to keep the property without letting it go back.
