How can I find out....?

Hello,
My husband foreclosed on a home (stopped making payments in 9/07 that is) in September 2007. We got notice that it went to a trustee's sale and I believe it was in June 2008 it went to auction. How can I find out if it was purchased? The HOA is trying to bill us for past due payments but I believe the house is not under my husband's name any longer. We made HOA payments up until 6/2008 and when it went to auction we stopped. How can I find out the info. on the sale of his old house? We live in CA, Riverside County.
