Need to respond to Foreclosure Summons in Florida

Hi ,
I got a forclosure summons notice for the property I have in Florida. I live in Virginia.
Can anybody please tell me how to respond to the notice. Does anybody have a copy of the letter which need to be sent to the court or tell me the format of the letter.I am currently working on a short sale with the lender.
