Depending upon where you fall within the foreclosure timeclock, there is nothing preventing you from moving back into the house. Be persistant with your loan modification request.

Have you reviewed the loan for violations which can give you some leverage during negotiations?

Is the loan a subprime or AltA written in the last few years?
