Help Please! Notice of Cancellation of hearing

I have received a notice of cancellation of hearing from the plaintiff's attorney cancelling the hearing set for jan 13. The problem is I never received any notice of a hearing date in the first place! The court's website show the last entries as my motion to dismiss and "COPY/S CIRCUIT CIVIL Receipt: 174600 Date: 12/18/2008" Cancellation of hearing sounds like a good thing; but I'm concerned that the hearing was supposed to be so soon and I wasn't aware! If anyone could offer any input, clarification, or advice I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time and attention.
