loan assumption not paying what to do

The mobile home was assumed by a couple and moved to there property. Now the mortgage company says they have missed 2, going on 3 payments with no response. They have now contacted us for payment since we are still on the paperwork. What can we do? We are liable but the mobile is not on our property.
