refinance forclosure timing


Posted by bryant on January 27, 2009 at 18:50:36:Hi, I live in Illinois. I recently had to refinance my house by law because of a divorce. I got the refi and took a bit of equity with it to pay some other debt. I can't really afford the payments without my wife and i honestly wouldn't even care to stay if i could. does anybody know if there are any laws restricting one from foreclosing for any period of time after completing a refi? I want to make sure it is not considered fraud. thanks in advance!!
