WILL 3RD MISSED PAYMENT GO TO FORCLOSURE?


Posted by JR in California on January 28, 2009 at 13:41:55:After having no luck trying to deal with my mortgage company(American Home Mortgage Servicing Inc.) I could not take the stress of having to deal with idiots, who aren't interested in helping,but just want my money. I have contracted with a company to help negotiate on my behalf for a loan modification. They seem to be ok as they have not required any money up front. My question is, I have been behind 2 payments for a few months and may miss the 3rd payment in next 30 days. So does that mean that I automatically go into default and the forclosure timeclock begins? I have been reading so many horror stories. You are negotiating in good faith and you still lose your home. When is Washinton going to help MAIN STREET? When I'm homeless?
