Excellent advise, Bill. Auctions are rarely the place to learn how to buy a foreclosure for the first time. They are for experienced investors. With lots of cash since they want the money up front :>)
If anything you need to go and watch a number of these to get a good feel for the process. Perhaps you could hook up with a mentor and ease into buying foreclosures.
