This is the statement at the top of the forum. If you are pitching someone to a site where you stand to financially benefit that is considered advertising by most. Also a marker is if you are really answering the question or just pushing them to your site.
Remember that you can email the person direct if you think you have something to offer. Then they can decide if they want to talk to you.
We have had some really blatant advertisers here of late. Your own good judgement should be the first guide post.
I tend to be the picky one on forum rules so will to be the one to holler :>)
Most people will post ads without having read the rules of the road. Afterall, most forums are much more commercial and allow them. This is a consumer site as opposed to the more typical investor site. So a simple reminder is all that is needed.
