The Realtor is supposed to work with the bank, but many of them are just contacting those in foreclosure to line their own pockets. I actually set down with those in foreclosure to help them work with the bank to stay in their home if they want or lengthen the time to trustee sale and get an agreement with the bank as to the settled amount they will accept. I have not heard of the National Short Sale Center, but would be cautious of any business that uses a short sale as a first option.
