Hello again. Here is the scenario. My friend is 2months behind in thier mortgage payments. They have been trying to keep up, but can no longer afford the payments and are planning on making ONE more payment, before letting the house go into foreclosure. The property is in California. Now my question is how does the timeline work now? I mean i know that it is usually 3months before the bank files a NOD. Is that NO payments for 3months or just late 3 months consecutively? Basically, if they make one more payment, how much longer before the NOD's are filed? Please help. thank you!
