Once a judgment is obtained in one state, it is possible for the creditor to record an abstract of judgment in other states if they aware of the other assets. If this allowed, the abstract will become a lien on property in the other states. Be careful, any private investigator can perform an exhaustive asset search in a few hours. Follow Ups:
