I have done some research into circuit court records and have found a state tax lien ($1200). But no second mortgages. (definitely plenty of refinances, etc as it is the home's original owner from the early 80s)
Just some info on the property... the mortgage in default is for $82,000. The home & land together are worth probably around $300,000. Land alone is valued at $120,000.
So any tips for talking to the buyer? The auction is at the end of the month, so am I too late already??
