Has the sheriff sale already happened or is it a ways off?
Do you have the farmhouse on a different parcel # from the actual farm? And is the mortgage that is being foreclosed attached to both the farmhouse and the farm itself.
Also, are you leasing any additional acreage where you could talk to the owner and temporarily hold off on payments for a few months to get some extra cash?
Could you get an advance on whatever yield you expect to come in at harvest?
Do you have any idle equipment that you could sell off immediately to bring i some cash?
Answer these questions and if that doesen't help, let me know, I have other suggestions for you.
