My current agent claims that he is going to have our property sold via short sale. It has been three months now and he still claims that he needs to talk to their lawyer. My situation is that my Father in law cannot pay for the half of our mortgage anymore. I entered this house as my wife's parents partner with paying the mortgage. But now, they decided to move on....so my wife and I cannot afford to pay the mortgage. We are also on a negative amortization plan....so either we foreclose....or hopefully sell the house even through a short sale.
