in order to persue a short sale, don't i have to start the foreclosure process? I initaly thought, "hmmm, short sale, good idea" till I learned that if I (or my Realtor) can't find a buyer, the mortgage companies don't respond, or flat out denies short sale, that I am pretty much stuck in a foreclosure unless I pay past due, fees, and more.
