Sale Tomorrow!

I had a contract short sale pending, settlement was set for last week and buyer did not show up to the table. I called bank to request more time to get another potential contract and postpone the sale to no avail. What are MD's redemption laws and do they allow defiencies? I was told by my mortgage holder (the bank) if I sue the potential buyer for defaulting the loan and she is found to be in default that I could have the foreclosure rescinded.... And tieing up my home for almost two months to get her approval after having issues with her 1rst lender. We got another offer after hers and didnt realize her deal was so unstable. She begged my agent to give her time and bear with her so the 2nd contract never got a chance. Then for her to use up all of my time before my foreclosure sale date to just up and walk away was just plain wrong.
