I believe that Texas and Florida are the only two states where that isn't allowed.

They can be garnished in special government-related cases, like student loans and child support, but that's all.

There are other pretty inconvenient things that a judgment-holder can do to collect, with various writs, but wage-garnishment isn't among them.

For instance, any checking or savings account you have can be garnished, for 10 years after a judgment, and potentially 20 years, if the judgment is renewed after it's 10-year life.
