We just went through foreclosure (California).Usually you have 90 days and then an additional 3 weeks and if you have a 2nd then the process starts all over after the primary declares foreclosure-90 days, 3weeks and even after that you can wait until the bank that took over the loan realizes that they own the property.They will send a sheriff and nail a notice to your door, telling you, you have 3 weeks to vacate. If the bank sends someone. make them an offer, like I'll leave by the 15th if the bank will agree to help me pay a deposit on a new place...say like $3000.00. They'll pay, because it's easier for them to have you leave willingly, rather than having to force you out. What have you got to lose anyway???
