Hello - Hopefully her Ex does care somewhat about his children - if so - he may give her authorization to speak to the mortgage lender herself. She would need a letter executed by her EX stating that he gives authorization for "the mortgage lender to release information to her. Hopefully the following will help out ... Good luck.
