Thank you Mr. Martinez-Clark for all of your dedication for the common good of American homeowners caught in a web or subprime, predatory and deceptive lenders and thank you for taking time to analyze my predicament and comment on it. I am on your website blog right now because some weeks ago I acquired a copy of the article that you referenced above. In fact I have printed it and attached it to an addendum letter that I intend to file with the court as an example exhibit to support my objections, countclaims and arguments. In my original prayer to the court I asked the Judge for dismissal of the Plaintiff's petition without prejudice. Resondent-Defendent answers and/or cross or counterclaims were all due in NLT Dec 20, 2007. As I write this, it has been six weeks since this deadline and there is no record that the court has placed the matter on its dockett or the dockett of a less-burdened mediator. Aside from this the plaintiff, but in this matter simply the mortgage company appears to be playing a ponzi game with me. Using a local real estate broker as a front they apparently are attempting to seduce me into agreeing to a short sale and there is an apparent buyer. I feel that I am faced with a real moral dilemma here. My heart tells me I need to stand by what I have, wait on the court to make a tentative decision, and ultimately see these unscrupulous operators punished in a perverse sort of way, rather than falling too quickly for this short sale offer and just walking away.
