Just for the record we have found that the Case-Schiller data to be consistantly wrong for our metro area. They nearly double the actual decrease in prices over the past year.
Sad, as they and the media feed the problem by projecting things as worse than they are. It then feeds the frenzy.
But I guess blood sells.
