Thank you for the info. FYI--the reason I want to stay in my hse. as long as possible is because everything is set up for my disability such as concrete wheelchair ramps, grab bars, etc. I became officially disabled 2 years ago. I bought the hse. before I became disabled. Do you know of any Fed/State law that says if a person becomes disabled and can no longer work the hse. is paid off? I live in CA. Also, what happens to my hse. insurance when I stop making pmts.? Currently it is included in my hse. pmt. & taken directly out of my checking acct.
