Before the property went to foreclosure, the owner was trying to sell it. The property's listed price was $115,000. His current total liens against the property are about $ 80,000. He has not been living in this property since November, 2007. We think this tells us that filing bankruptcy would not be the best thing in his situation. We do not know much about bankruptcy though. My question is: Can he still sell the property if he did file for bankruptcy?
