If you just send the lender info, like a mortgage application, they will push out the trustee sale date. Most lenders are 90 days or more behind on forbearance/modification work out programs. The trick is to get your application into the system. The lender will take the side of caution, and won't throw you out until they can review the package. They don't want the house. But if you don't play the game- THEY WILL TAKE IT SOONER THAN NOT.- HOPE THIS HELPS
