Had to post this question seperately. When we bought our house we were very ignorant about things and fell under a lot of pressure to"buy or be priced out forever" we had received a lump sum of $ and bought a house way over our means beacuse we "thought" we were doing the right thing.Hindsight is 20/20.All that being said we never should have qualified to buy this house. the broker had to have lied on the paperwork.Is it possible to take legal action against the broker for falsifying docs even though we signed them.We were told not to worry about the high payments bcz we would be able to re-fi in 6 mo. into a better loan with lower payments.I've been wondering about legal action but too overwhemlmed too ask. Our NOD was file on Jan 8th. we are in so-cal. Any solid knowledge/direction is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
