If your are 'insolvent' the 1099 issue is a non-issue. Also, if the home is your primary residence, the Mortgage Foregiveness Debt Relief Act of 2007
probably renders any '1099 income' exempt.
All homeowners facing mortgage foreclosure need to be well-informed.
