What makes you think that Chapter 13 bankruptcy protection you will not be
responsible for what you owe on the promissory note that you signed with
your lender(s)? I just don't see how filing ch 13 and not completing a the
process (getting a discharge) will relieve someone of his/her obligation to pay
a debt incurred.
I believe that it's necessary that you study how the ch 7 and/or ch 13
bankruptcy process works with your attorney since it can be a very complex
one for a layman.
