These services are well hyped... promising speedy approvals, and full commissions to brokers who've been shellshocked by loan servicing slowdowns, if not acute stalemates due to unrealistic perception of value.
Of course, delivering on promises predicated upon old and abandoned servicing policies and practices are problematic, or impossible. But once the broker is hooked.... and commits and then outsources dozens of potential short sale transactions it stays hooked, unless or until the service provider cuts the line because the deal is too problematic, or will not deliver the needed profitability.
Much the same advice I offer to homeowners in ddistress applies to brokers. "As a rule, there are no shortcuts."
