It sounds like the property has been transferred, and
the REO department has posted a "three day notice to
quit." If this is the case, eviction will start if you
fail to quit the property in the allotted time. It is
not advisable to allow eviction to begin. The unlawfull
detainer suit can appear on your credit report, and
make renting more difficult.
